Importance of covenant grace, sonship and faithful Service

Believers are called upon to embrace correct spiritual foundations through faithful service, alignment and an understanding of covenant grace.

Ministering under the theme “Foundational GPS,” Apostle Emmanuel Marecha likened spiritual foundations to a global positioning system that not only reveals one’s location but also provides direction toward destiny.
He explained that when believers are rightly aligned to their God-given foundations, they receive grace that removes confusion, delay and misdirection.

Central to the message was the biblical account of Eleazar in Genesis 24. Apostle Marecha noted that the angel sent ahead of Eleazar was not an ordinary angel, but a covenant angel—one reserved for sons. Although Eleazar was a servant in Abraham’s household, the grace he operated under revealed that he had crossed from mere servanthood into sonship. This, the Apostle taught, was evident in the level of trust Abraham placed in him, including entrusting him with Isaac’s future and releasing covenantal backing upon his assignment.

He explained that Eleazar’s manner of service distinguished him. Though born a servant, Eleazar served faithfully, consistently and without self-interest until Abraham no longer saw him as a servant, but as a son. That faithful service attracted favour, divine speed and supernatural accuracy, enabling Eleazar to pray a prayer that was answered almost immediately when Rebekah appeared.
According to Apostle Marecha, this demonstrated how covenant alignment grants spiritual precision and eliminates delay.

The Apostle challenged believers to examine the depth of their service, noting that many serve only to the level of obligation rather than to the level of sonship. He emphasised that true sons serve the grace of the system, not visibility or reward. Blessings released by spiritual fathers, he said, seek out those who serve faithfully even when unseen.

Contrasting Eleazar’s loyalty with the error of Ahithophel, Apostle Marecha warned against serving without proper alignment.
While Ahithophel was gifted to counsel King David, his divided loyalty and pride led him into betrayal and eventual ruin. “Anointing without faithfulness cannot preserve destiny,” the Apostle cautioned.

Concluding the message, Apostle Marecha urged believers to pray for grace to serve rightly, stating that strong foundations, covenant understanding and faithful service are essential for lasting success. He reaffirmed that when believers serve beyond duty and into sonship, they access favour, speed and divine guidance that shape their future.
