About Us
Statement of Faith
New Creation Life Ministries International believes the Bible is the Word of God and the final authority for all aspects of Christian living.
We believe in the study of the Word of God, the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, soul-winning and evangelism. We are certain of and have faith in the reality of the Holy Spirit, the power of prayer, the work of ministry, giving of tithes and offering and the basic doctrines of Christ.
Basic Doctrines We Believe In:
- We believe in the plenary – verbal inspiration of the accepted principles of scriptures as originally given. The scriptures are infallible, inerrant and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:6)
- We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God manifesting for redemptive purposes in three persons, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Distinguishable but indivisible, (Matthew 28:18, Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
- We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour of men; conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, true God and true man. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. (Luke 1:26-35, John 1:4-16, Isaiah 7:14)
- We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead in fulfilment of the Lord’s command. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2: 38, Acts 19:5)
- We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as detailed in 1 Corinthians 12 -14 as manifested in the early church.
- We believe in the table of the Lord, commonly called Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper for believers. (1 Corinthians 11: 28 32)
- We believe there is one true universal Church, made up of genuine believers but is composed of the local churches in given localities. These churches under the sovereign leadership of Jesus Christ, exercising autonomous government, locally self-administering and self-propagating. (Acts 15: 22, Matthew 16: 18)
- We believe in the death, burial, resurrection, bodily ascension and bodily coming back of our Lord Jesus Christ for His Church. (1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18)
- We believe that government is ordained by God. We declare our loyalty to our government and its leaders and we will assist in every way possible consistent with our faith in the scriptures as Christian citizens. (Romans 13)
Vision and Mission
Influencing communities and nations to conform into the image of Christ through preaching and teaching new creation realities, building families and moulding individual dreams.
Our Story
Joy Museba was already in ministry heading an interdenominational ministry called Redeeming the Times (RT). As the visionary he had been leading many in his generation to Christ. Having started this ministry in his hometown of Kwekwe, it grew and spread to Gweru and Harare. He conducted lunch hour services in Kwekwe at the Rainbow Cinema and Sunday evening services at Kwekwe Theatre. He held youth camp meetings at Echo Park in Kwekwe, Nhlela Centre, Gweru Sports Club in Gweru, Rest Haven in Domboshava and Munyati Sports Club in Munyati. The Harare wing of RT was being run by Mary Chikuvadze (now Pastor Mary Museba). Pastor Mary at the time was responsible for the ladies youth wing of RT
In 2010, the Lord placed a vision of a church on the heart of Joy Museba. The vision, New Creation Life Ministries International was firmly established in February 2011 on the 12th. The name was taken from 2 Corinthians 5vs 17, with the revelation of teaching people life in Christ which is called the new creation life.
The church held its first services in Sister Elizabeth Simbi’s (now Evangelist Simbi) residence in Extension 1 Mbizo, Kwekwe with 6 adults on the first day. After running for 2 months the vision was fully launched on the 12th February 2011 at Old Mbizo Play Centre opposite the Old Mbizo Shopping Centre. At the launch 15 adults were present. To date the church has grown from such a humble beginning to over 19 branches across the nation.
