Vision of Influence should go beyond the church – Apostle Sande

Apostle Munetsi Sande delivered a strong message on transformation, deep spirituality and societal influence.
The man of God urged believers to move beyond religious routine and take responsibility for shaping every sector of society.

Preaching under the theme Mantles of Dominion, Apostle Sande emphasised that believers are not only called to minister within the house of God but are also commissioned to serve and influence their communities. He described the current season as a journey of change and transformation, one that requires both obedience and inner renewal.

Drawing from 1 Kings 19:19–21, Apostle Sande reflected on the calling of Elisha, highlighting that divine mantles are released through decisive obedience and faithful service. He noted that although Elisha was initially a servant, the manner in which he served positioned him for elevation. By abandoning his oxen and committing fully to Elijah, Elisha demonstrated the cost of following a divine call. This principle remains relevant today, as new mantles are being released, but they require the tearing away of old garments, symbolic of outdated mindsets, traditions and former ways of thinking.

He stressed that followership must go beyond outward actions. Using Joshua’s relationship with Moses, he explained that Joshua followed not only in proximity but also in heart. Despite walking closely with Moses, Joshua did not assume leadership until God instructed him to do so. Apostle Sande warned that it is possible to master the art of following externally while the heart remains disengaged, noting that true transformation must take place inwardly.

Referencing Joshua 3:9–10, Apostle Sande said the defining evidence of God’s presence in 2026 would be “total dominion.” He described a transition from a “Moses season,” characterised by deliverance from Egypt, to a “Joshua anointing,” marked by conquest and possession of the promised land. While Egypt required escape, Canaan demanded engagement and dominion, even though it was already occupied. He added that God does not repeat methods across seasons, cautioning that rigid religiosity could cause believers to miss divine instruction.

There is need to move from religion to deep spirituality. Apostle Sande described religion as a form of godliness that lacks power, often focused on outward appearance rather than inner transformation. Deep spirituality, he said, focuses on understanding the purpose behind the cross and living out kingdom principles. He stated that the ministry is intentionally guiding believers away from religious limitations toward authentic spiritual depth.

The message identified seven domains targeted for influence: family, religion, education, politics, media and culture, health and business. Apostle Sande stressed the importance of order within families, ethical leadership in business, meaningful participation in governance and redemptive engagement with media and healthcare systems. He challenged believers to move beyond survival toward significance, using their positions to influence society positively.

Concluding the message, Apostle Sande urged attendees to embrace fresh instruction, noting that obedience to what God is saying now is critical. He encouraged believers to let go of old testimonies and embrace new mantles of transformation, change and dominion, declaring that the season ahead would reveal visible impact across all spheres of life.
