While others looked at the rocks and saw obstacles, Apostle Joy looked at the same rocks and saw foundations. The sheer scale of the undertaking is staggering. Massive rocks, embedded so deep in the soil they might as well have been there since creation! These are being uprooted daily, making way for foundations that will support a wall designed to secure the entire property.
While others saw a high-density suburb and dismissed it, he saw a land flowing with promise.
This is not just a building rising from the red soil of Mbizo; it is a factory for saints, a launchpad for leaders, and a forge where ordinary believers are hammered into vessels of extraordinary purpose.
A sweeping transformation is unfolding at the landmark 2,400-seater auditorium, where workers are uprooting gargantuan rocks to lay the foundation for a towering perimeter wall that will encircle the entire property.
Stretching hundreds of metres, the perimeter wall will secure what is already the region’s largest church facility, turning the site into a fully fortified, world-class complex.
Beyond the main auditorium, plans include a junior auditorium and major tutorial rooms, popularly known as conference arenas, housing the ministry’s flagship programs. These include the Kingdom Affluent Masters (KAM), Leadership Seminars, Women’s Camps, Men’s and Youth conferences, and even the good-cause division known as the Tinenyasha Charity Arm led by Pastor Mary.
Structural engineers, architects, designers, artisans, project managers, aesthetists, site supervisors, and builders, are all working flat out to ensure the labour is anything but vain. Apostle Joy, describes the project as far more than bricks and mortar.
In preparation for a place where nations will gather, where believers will be equipped, and where the Kingdom will advance, the stones being moved are a symbol of what God is doing in this generation – nothing is impossible when faith meets action.
The 2,500-seater auditorium already stands as a Kwekwe landmark, but the perimeter wall and exterior finishes will complete the vision, transforming the Life Centre into a fully operational hub for ministry, leadership training, and community transformation. What was once a rugged patch of high-density terrain is now a canvas upon which the “new” is being painted in bold, indelible strokes, a canvas upon which saints will be equipped for the work of ministry, and upon which dominion will be declared to the nations.
The project has drawn attention far beyond Kwekwe. From international observers and the local community alike, who marvel at a structure and scale that would not look out of place in the upmarket suburbs of the capital city – Harare.
