Life Centre, Kwekwe,ZIMBABWE
The Apostolic Summit 2025 Edition is here! Day 1 has engaged in full force, themed on “Absolute Victory”. With the summit being held for the first time ever at the Life Centre, in Kwekwe, ZIMBABWE, New Creation Life Ministries International has made history, with arguably the best church in the gold mining town, and the first double-storey church ever in Kwekwe! The Life Centre, which is 95% complete, has attracted many from all walks of life, towns, and cities from all over Zimbabwe and international visitors from the United States of America and Senegal, to mention but a few.
It’s joy all over the faces of everyone as the NCL family are proud owners of such a majestic building. Minister Michael Mahendere took the stage embracing the congregants with his powerful track “Ndinenge ndinemi.” His “Tangai neni” track shook the close to 3000-seater church, and it seemed as though the earth was shaking literally, almost a 10 on the Richter scale! Now that’s what we would call music! What a way to start with praising and worshiping Him, especially for a summit with a theme embedded in “absolute victory”.
As the music filled the arena, it was a joy to the greatest realms shown by the congregants as Co-founders of NCL, Apostle Joy and his ever cheerful wife, Pastor Mary Museba, entered the arena for the first time ever! The atmosphere had grown tense with great anticipation, expectation, and peace, with joy filling the arena moments later as congregants had waited to see these great visionaries enter. It was an oxymoron unheard of – a combination not known to the average person.
As Apostle Joy took the stage, he expressed appreciation for Pastor Z Kumwenda, who had introduced him to the pulpit. Apostle Joy hit the ground running with the importance of coming to Jesus, referencing Matthew 11 verses 28-30. “Come unto me,” he highlighted, promising rest for those burdened by ministry, marriage, finances, and more. However, he stressed that freedom requires an exchange – taking Jesus’ yoke and understanding His plan.
He encouraged the congregation to identify Jesus’ plan and carry His burden, rather than their own heavy loads. “If they’re going to go to Jesus with their burdens, Jesus shall give you rest. You have to take the yoke and the burden.” This act has to be intentional.
With the theme of Absolute Victory in mind, Apostle Joy declared that through Jesus, believers can experience total triumph over life’s challenges. “God is not a man that he should lie. He says what he does.” This inaugural night of the Apostolic Summit 2025 Edition which is from the 16th through to 19th October was a testament to the power of worship, humility, and trusting in Jesus’ plan for absolute victory.
