In a remarkable turn of events, I experienced a double miracle – healing from a 15-year-long shoulder pain and deliverance from a highly publicised court case – after encountering Apostle Joy at the Believer’s Ministry Class (BMC). The BMC has been instrumental in my conversion, teaching me Bible principles and igniting a passion for ministry within me. I am Dr. Bright Matonga, the former Deputy Minister of Information.
My journey with Apostle Joy began in July 2024, during a tumultuous time in my life. I had stopped attending church services during the peak of COVID-19, but Apostle Joy’s teachings drew me back to the faith. Since then, I have undergone a profound change. My body, character, confidence, and focus have all improved significantly.
Apostle Joy’s teaching style is refreshing and straightforward. He preaches what he practices and does not mince words. My spiritual life has been renewed, and my understanding of the Bible has greatly improved. I have developed a strong commitment to tithing and giving through proper biblical channels.
One of the most remarkable experiences I have had since joining the ministry was being healed from the shoulder pain that had plagued me for nearly 15 years. I had spent thousands of dollars over the years trying to easy the pain. It happened during an all-night service at the Life Center, our new church building. Apostle Joy mentioned that he could feel the pain when someone has pain, and as he said that, I fell under the anointing. When I came to, the pain had subsided, and it’s been getting better every day.
The BMC has also been key in resolving my court case. During a session, Apostle Joy ministered to people with pending court cases and other troubles. After the service, I woke up at 2 am speaking in tongues, a new experience for me though I had been going to church for years. I felt a strong conviction to pray for my case. The Holy Spirit instructed me to pray that the truth about my case be revealed. Shortly after that encounter, I was acquitted of allegations that I had stolen farming equipment valued at around $500,000. The court ruled that the matter was a civil dispute arising from a breach of a joint venture agreement, rather than a criminal case. All charges were dropped as there was no evidence to support the allegations.
Through the BMC, I have learned the importance of having zeal and passion for the things of the Lord. I have become passionate about ministry and now serve in the house of God with joy, regardless of the task. Apostle Joy’s ministry has had a positive impact on my business, which has seen significant improvement in profitability.
I am grateful for the revival that Apostle Joy’s has brought into my life, and I’m committed to serving the Lord with enthusiasm and commitment.
