Mahendere headlines Apostolic Summit

Gospel music sensation, Minister Michael Mahendere will be the toast of a rich entertainment lineup scheduled to perform during the New Creation Life Ministries Internationals’ Apostolic Summit scheduled for this weekend in Kwekwe.

The four day event which will be held under the theme “Rising above challenges” will run from Thursday 17th October to Sunday 20th October at the Kwekwe Mining Museum.

The Apostolic Summit, brainchild of NCL’s leaders, Apostle Joy and Mary Museba, which has been running since 2012 and has seemingly grown in stature by each passing edition is expected to be attended by multitudes of worshipers from across Zimbabwe and beyond.

The 2023 edition was dominated by the visit by United Family International Church leader and founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa, who is Apostle Joy’s spiritual father, to Kwekwe for the annual event.

Minister Mahendere who also performed during the previous edition, is expected to lead the entertainment cast which also includes Mathias Mhere, Joyful Praises Choir, Minister Gabriel Chiteke, Pastor Benjamin Mushoriwa, Minister Prince Kays and the church outfit, the NCL Choir.

The summit runs parallel to the Kingdom Affluent Masters (KAM) which are usually financial classes targeting business leaders and business people. Pastor Dr Nigel Chanakira was the main speaker during the KAM classes earlier this year, but this time around, he comes in to minister unto the church and is expected to open the summit on Thursday evening.

The KAM held under the theme “Financial Literacy” will this year see popular Old Mutual Financial Literacy expert Shalom Govero and Southern Africa Sub-Region of Dr John Maxwell EQUIP Leadership Director, Mr Berven Chimanikire taking the saints through their paces on financial literacy.

Apostle Joy said all was in place for the annual event which is set to be attended by hundreds of saints from across the country and beyond.

“We can safely say that everything is in place now and we are prepared to host the multitudes of our members coming from all corners of the country and outside the country. It is going to be an exciting experience where we are going to witness major shifts on the spiritual chessboard and that of life in general,” he said.

Apostle Joy said that music is expected to be the main component of the summit, given the live recording of the NCL choir.

He also said KAM was a must attend event given its importance to the worshipers. “KAM usually targets business leaders only, but this time around it is open for everyone. We want to equip our worshipers with financial literacy so that they know how to make money and how to use it wisely. We thought everyone who uses money needs these classes so that they understand the value of money better,” he said.
