The Teen impact Ministry which was established by New Creation Life Ministries visionaries Apostle Joy and Pastor Mary Museba has been empowering teenagers through spiritual guidance.
0n the 10th of January as the most vibrant and energetic ministry, which is characterized by young people aged 13 to 19 the visionary planned for us to meet and learn before schools opened. We had been eagerly waiting for another opportunity to meet as teens before beginning a new school term so that we could learn life skills.
Pastor Matiyenga was our special guest who gave us the word for the Term. He taught us that the word of God is enough, no matter where we will be we have to remember that the word of GOD is enough .He went on to explain that we have to fight the spirit of not doing things. Many times we get so faint hearted and quit ,so he emphasized and encouraged us to take a bold step and fight the spirit of not doing things. He went on to teach us that we can do it! The Pastor left us with a word that if you want to be a special sheep do not do what the flock is doing. Indeed this was a take home point as we dare to be different in every aspect of our lives.
The session got a notch higher when one of the elderly mothers, Gogo Nhemachena came in to educate us about respect. Initially it was about respecting elders and peers but little did we know that she was indeed packed. She went on to talk about respecting ourselves (myself).This caught the attention of every teenager in the room because we all realized that we have not been giving enough respect to ourselves .It was an eye opener ,self love activation and therapy to all. Gogo Nhemachena went on to teach us that we need to stop the negative habits we had been doing and start something positive and continue doing so and our lives will blossom like a flower.
As the Teen Impact ,we are grateful to the visionary that is moulding our lives like a Potter.
