The year of His unlimited power

2024 goes down in history as one of the most iconic years for New Creation Life Ministries International (NCL).

It started off with the crossover service where Apostle Joy rolled out the vision in such a compelling way that every member understood their assignment and call for the year. The year, aptly dubbed the “Year of His unlimited power” saw the ministry reaching new levels of power – both spiritually and materially. Apostle Joy went out of his way at the start of the year, sharing his heart and spirit, equipping members for the work ahead. He held the Firm Foundation conference in Mbizo where he taught on the importance of hearing when God speaks. He emphasized that spirituality is personal and if one wants to experience God’s exceeding and abundant power there are conditions – purity and righteousness. “You need to grow where you’re planted” was a phrase that one might not have understood at the time but it became clearer as the year progressed. The evangelism and church planting drive for the ministry was on another scale in 2024.

In February, Apostle Joy commissioned the NCL Masvingo branch and this was just one of the many branches and cells that sprouted out, making it visible that indeed the church is mandated to influence communities and nations to conform to the image of Christ through preaching new creation realities.
A remarkable milestone was reached at one of the church’s projects, the historic Life Centre when a 30 ton crane was brought to lift steel beams for the roof signaling the progress made so far in construction. The building is a ground-breaking move for the ministry, particularly in a small city like Kwekwe. This achievement showcases the church’s dedication to investing in the local community and creating a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come.

The great visitation – It would be amiss to talk about 2024 and not to mention Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwas’ meeting with Apostolic Partners. The visit, being his fourth to the church underscores the Prophet’s unwavering dedication to the NCL family.
Pastor Mary, an icon in her own right, co-founder of NCL and wife to Apostle Joy held a life transformative ladies conference under the theme, let it go. She holds a ladies conference annually under her banner Women of Excellence and this year true to the overall theme of the church, God showed Himself in an amazing way and the joy of the Lord was reignited in women’s lives.

The Believers’ Ministry – Apostle Joy launched a class in Harare where he challenged conventional approaches to ministry. The class empowered believers to confidently demonstrate the unlimited power of God by actively desiring spiritual gifts and being a beacon of the power given by God to every believer. The emphasis was on how ministry and its accompanying acts are for every believer and not just Pastors or prophets.
The Night of Results – held for the first time in years in Harare, the night of results was a testament to how the ministry has grown this year. One of the bigger Harare show grounds hall was bursting to capacity with people thronging to experience the miraculous power of God who answers quickly and they were not disappointed.
Mbizo Crusade – “there was great joy in that city,” shall remain a phrase associated with the great Mbizo Crusade. There was an enormous turn up as crowds came to give glory to Jesus, the Greatest! Apostle Joy was in his element, teaching, healing and delivering people, seeing to it that joy reigned supreme in Mbizo.
The Apostolic Summit was bigger and greater and we experienced deeper spirituality than any other year. We are rising above challenges and we’re coming out victorious!
